About Jessica Swift
Welcome to my website! My name is Jessica, and I am a 24 year old artist from West Yorkshire. I graduated with a degree in Fine Art in 2021, and now love to create work to show in exhibitions and galleries.
I currently teach Fine Art at a local Art School, as well as running my own business Happy Home Studio, which is an online store specialising in minimalist and modern Home Decor / Wall Art. I visit schools in the Bradford district as a practicing artist to run pottery and painting workshops, as well as working at different heritage sites and venues around West Yorkshire. I also work on the marketing team for Kala Sangam Arts Centre.

I tutor Fine Art once a week at Young Masters Visual Art School, teaching a range of things from pottery to painting to printmaking and everything in between!

I was on the steering board for the Thornton Arts Trail which was an Open Studios Art Trail taking place in Thornton on the 29th of June with over 40 artists taking part. I am also on the steering board for The Story Pole Project which is a start up project to empower women in the Bradford district through installation artwork in outdoor spaces.

I have been a visiting artist in Chemnitz, Germany for the last two years to teach pottery at their annual Makers United Festival in celebration of Bradford x Chemnitz 2025.
I specialize in:
- Abstract Painting
- Contemporary Sculpture
- Abstract Portraiture
- Mark Making
