TRYING TIMES WITH
YELLOW 2020
‘Trying Times with Yellow’ is a series of six paintings created in response to the unprecedented period we have found ourselves in. Recurring shapes & colours have been used to try and emulate the effects lockdown has had on daily schedules. Each painting is notably different yet composed of the same shapes creating a sense of repetition but also safety and security. This repetition of shape is a trait shared with her recent sculptural works.
